Members mrbrown49
Great pic. I have no experience with the lower end models on that page, but I suggest saving up for the classic 57s.

Members prauny
I think I will go for a set of these http://www.axesrus.com/images/GVH1SPEC.jpg what say you lot?
Members cross.bones
Probably the Toneriders, or the wilkinsons. I would take a jump on the Axesrus own brand, I understand Tony does a similar thing to Jay with the GFS ones and gets them from Korea/china at his specs. Also many of them art Artec which are half decent.
Members prauny
The GFS pickups do have a good rep....
Members Orange Jackson
I think pickups are one place that you really do not want to go cheep. You could always buy one pu now and one months later too. The Seymour Duncan Jazz is a great pick up for rock, blues and of course jazz. You can find them used easily too. Members prauny
I ended up going in a different direction and getting this assembly http://www.axesrus.com/PickyASSImages/Right%20Handed%20Black%20HBHB%20Chrome.jpg from this page http://www.axesrus.com/pickassy.html instead. Members Ancient Mariner
If I were buying from that list I'd probably pic the Tonerider Alnico IVs. Look, I'm selling some GFS Vintage '59s with Nickel covers that are great in Les Paul style guitar. They're good pickups (I like them a lot more than Duncan '59s) but they've been sat around for a couple of years since I replaced them with some vintage Gibson units in my Heritage. I'll do them for 30 quid shipped. *edit* I see you just bought some mounted in that pick guard. Oh well, hope they're OK.
