Members CompleteGuitard
that sucks man. If I were you, I'd take it up with whoever tried to pass that off as acceptable workmanship. I'd be embarassed to ship something like that out and I don't think it'd be unreasonable at all to call the person on that. is that what my tele knobs were going to go on? Members vintage clubber
What's wrong is that it's spongy, uneven, and has a chip.Oh no. This is something entirely different. I contacted you about a whole separate project. That would pretty much be the routing we would need though, right?

Members Citizen_Insane
Well if you paid by CC or with paypal, you can always open a dispute if relations with the painter go south.

Members ajcoholic
I'm a tough customer, sure. But I really wanted this to be perfect. I won't tell who did this job (know that it was NOT atrox), since I don't want anything bad said about the individual because - who knows - maybe they'll fix it. But this isn't all that cool, man I don't know if this is something I can fix on my own. That 4th and 5th pic looks like pebal on a curling rink!AJC

Members GreaserMatt
Besides the chip in the last picture, what are the other Issues? You can't see those runs in the body? Maybe its just me...
Members newbuilder
I am really bad at finishing, so I can't say anything too crytical, looks like a redo to me. Not sure if you can fix that.
Members mymindsok
The Doctor said... I can fix that for ya but it's gonna take a while, So go on and take a seat. Just try not to bleed on the carpet And pull the door shut when you leave. Delbert McClinton Dude, youre goonna have to start over from the beginning! Either strip off the finish down to the wood and try again or buy another body and have a competent painter do the job. I'd pick up another blank and start over... Members Alecto
That workmanship is crap: in addition to everything else, I'm seeing some serious orange peel. Definitely let the guy (big assumption here, I know) know you're not happy with the work and you want him to make it right by whatever means necessary. And if he ignores you or blows you off, feel free to let us know who he is. That's completely unacceptable.
Members docjeffrey
I'm clueless when it comes to finishes, but is glitter usually sprayed dry from a gun mixed with a lacquer base like Gibson does to its Goldtops? Because that looks like a Hobby Lobby craft kit. Brush on some Elmers and sprinkle on the glitter. Yuck.
Members Les Paul Lover
Hope the "painter" (terms used rather loosely here) owns up and make it right.

Members 211dave112
name and shame. even if they do fix it it still doesn't make it ok that they shipped that out to you in that condition. i would hazard a guess at that not being particularly cheap either!
