Members ashasha
I've used all of them and my preference is the ones that GFS sell. They are solid, don't poke into you when you lean it somewhere and they won't come off by accident.

Members bsman
Schallers + loctite = infallible.
Members Flintc
Again, nothing is idiot-proof. I've got some Duncans, and you do have to make sure they're inserted all the way. Schallers work fine (loctite is a good idea) but they tend to rattle, very audible with electric-acoustics with body sensor pickups. Clips can make straps hard to remove. I've also had good luck finding strap pins with big wide heads, just barely small enough to get through the hole in the strap. These also work fine. Members Symmetry2170
These are awesome ideas. I've always considered the Grolsch bottle cap method, but I want to be able to take my strap on and off when not using it. Perhaps the schaller + loctite method or even schallers with Gorilla glue would be a decently safe bet.

Members megawzrd
+1 for dimarzio cliplocks I have had them on my guitars for 5+ years at least. Never tried anything else so I'm partial. But they work well and I like the color selection.
Members sixstringer76
Never had a problem with Schallers and I always break off a toothpick in the hole with some glue before I install them.

Members toddinjax
I've been using this type since the early 90s...never had a problem. I tried those and in short time they would just fall off; guitar came off and I managed to catch it before it hit the ground. That happen a couple of times (which makes me look stoopid for not getting rid of them the first time) and I tried Marvel strap locks. They work quite well; got 3 sets for $20. on ebay.
