Members vintage clubber
why not just buy a tele??
Members stormin1155
If you can physically get them to fit it should work. The bridge pickup may require additional routing. As for the spacing, it will be off by about 1/8", but close enough so you shouldn't have any problem with fall-off.

Members sk8centilli
why not just buy a tele?? Because a Tele doesn't have dual horns.
Members Cwizzy
Because a Tele doesn't have dual horns. and everybody knows that tone is in the horns
Members jkay
is definitely from the "why the hell would you want to do that" file. I'm an admitted modaholic, but that one has never occured to me. I'm sure it could be done, but it just aint right!
Members Aging in Rhythm
how about an alder/ash SG with tele pickups and a 25.5 scale neck...
Members Cwizzy
how about an alder/ash SG with tele pickups and a 25.5 scale neck... that requires me building a new guitar and i doesn't have the skill for that
Members Willyguitar
I don't think they would fit easily at all, especially not the bridge pickup - there would be some serious work involved... and why would you want to? A much much much much much better thing to do, if you want some twang from an SG (actually better than slightly crappy thin twang - real beefy twang), would be to put some P90s in there. JUST DO IT!!!!
Members 's mel gibson
For the price of bothering to do the mod. Wouldn't a cheap Dano do the same with out all the fuss. I'm with the other guys who say nay. Those lipsticks are sort of weak. You'd be neutering your SG.
Members freeridstylee
Would they fit in humbucker covers? That would make things easier.
Members Cwizzy
i guess the idea isn't as good as i thought it was.i thought af telebridge pickup would fit in a humbucker route //Ilfeldt

Members sxyryan
I don't think it would be that hard. My worry would be making it look good. It would be easy if you have a full guard SG. Just make a new pickguard to fit the tele pups. I think some kind of hybrid would be cool though, like an SG body with tele hardware... would combine two of my favorites into one...

Members cross.bones
A Strat pup would do surely. They are the same width as a humbucker and the height screws should pretty much go together in some pickup rings without too much work. Infact I'm sure I saw it on here earlier this week
