Members Coralkong
My son asked me what a "pick slide" was. I could only offer two examples off the top of my head: Long Live Rock by The Who and Crazy Train by Ozzy So, it got me to thinking, and I couldn't come up with any more "Good" examples of pick slides.....SO..... What can you come up with? Not cheesy, slappy, half-second pick slides, but good old-fashioned, tear-the-pick-up pick slides. What you got? Members Coralkong
Not ringing a bell, but I would have to go back and listen for it. Eddie probably uses them a lot, but nothing comes to mind....

Members soundcreation
Some one posted a video of Paul Gilbert doing the most amazing pick slide....I would love to see that video again..but haven't been able to track it down. Sounded like a bolt of lightning was shooting out of his guitar.
Members Tidal Rhythm
I think Social Distortion did a cover of "Ring of Fire" that had a few in it.
Members Coralkong
long pick slide going into guitar solo... Ahhhh, I'm not surprised......you, sir, are correct.
Members Alex_SF
I think Social Distortion did a cover of "Ring of Fire" that had a few in it. Social D's "Bad Luck" has a nice one in the middle of the third verse (or between the fifth & sixth, depending on how you divide it). John Cougar's "I Need A Lover" has a couple in the intro. VH's "And The Cradle Will Rock" has one at the beginning, but it's broken up into a series of small scrapes.

Members Coralkong
Yep, you are correct. (Not sure how familiar at 14 he is with some of the songs, though....). This isn't as easy as it sounds, is it?
Members Gravity
I think there was some kind of rule that all Slayer solos had to have a pickslide in them
Members rchiav
Not that you probably want to expose him to it, but Poison's Talk Dirty to Me has one. I think Scorpions Rock You Like a Hurricane has one too.
