  1. A Datsun B210? LOL. Did you have the wagon model? I had a Datsun pickup truck with a Mack truck dog ornament on the front, and a British Flag for a seat cover. LOL.... oh, to be 17 again.
  2. I guess it all depends on how bad you need the cash. I'm sure you can do better.
  3. When's the most recent time that a necessity had to come before another guitar.. or amp.. or pedal.. and so on, for you? Every {censored}ing day. It's always something, trust me. Get yourself a car, enjoy your youth. There will be plenty of time for more guitars and gear.
  4. I like that a lot. Simple and elegant. HNGD.
  5. I saw most of the film. It was mildly interesting. I was more interested in watching Jimmy Page's fingering on the Ramble On part than most anything else. I still don't care too much for White's playing, but I give him kudos for the blood all over the elctric guitar part. He's got heart, I'll give him that. WTF was with the little kid dressed up like him? Very Zeppelin-esque, like straight out of the Song Remains the Same movie.....all that was missing was the glowing eyes. Strange. I don't think you could find 3 more different guitar players. Perhaps the point, but it struck me as an odd combination, to say the least. 3 guys with absolutely NOTHING in common (other than Page and the Edge sell/sold out stadium gigs). ???? I'd like to see the rest of it, but doubt I would watch it again. (Watched it up the Stairway to Heaven footage, then kind of got bored. There's only so many times I can watch that......certainly wasn't the best live version of the song I've ever heard, either). I've always been a huge fan of the Edge, and while he was certainly modest and self-depricating in his ability, he really doesn't impress me too much anymore. I did enjoy the part where Page and White are noodling along to "I Will Follow" though. They kind of look at him like "OH, so THAT'S how you play that...." I kind of smiled at that one.
  6. Not that you probably want to expose him to it, but Poison's Talk Dirty to Me has one. I think Scorpions Rock You Like a Hurricane has one too. LOL, beats Slayer, I guess....
  7. Yep, you are correct. (Not sure how familiar at 14 he is with some of the songs, though....). This isn't as easy as it sounds, is it?
  8. Am I alone in thinking "every Boston song ever written"? LOL....
  9. long pick slide going into guitar solo... Ahhhh, I'm not surprised......you, sir, are correct.
