I just watched a sample from the January 2010 Guitar World DVD on these two guitars and both have the kill switch that does what the Buckethead Gibson will do and each is $199. Their are other options if you're not a label queen.

I played the explorer. the volume knob doesn't lock, so when you're messing with the killswitch, you accidentally roll down the volume.

I've ordered one. I wish Gibson would hurry the {censored} up and get these things out the door though. Production has been delayed by at least a month.

I've not seen them for sale anywhere near the MSRP. The most expensive I've seen is ~$3000USD from a store in the UK.

Is it actually a baritone? Or just a normal guitar with a weird scale length? Id love to try one...

The scale length is really all that makes an electric a baritone. Warmoth even sells baritone necks for popular bolt-on guitars. I
