Members Jimmy Chitown
Same story here. They're so unamazing that it's amazing, if that makes sense. They just play everything right w/ no frills. Except that all that "unamazing" playing is loaded with feeling? How unoriginal.
Members Large
Maybe you missed this post: Except that all that "unamazing" playing is loaded with feeling? How unoriginal. Personally, I think the guy's technique is above average (nothing amazing), but his note selection and phrasing appeal to me. I can understand why it might not be someone else's cup of tea, but I personally think it's pretty good.
Members Electric Catfish
It sounds like a rehash of SRV's style to me.Sounds more like a Dickey Betts rip-off to me, at least on "Heaven" (which makes me want to kill puppies.) I've not listened to any of their other stuff.

Did you only aspire to sound like you from the get-go? And who/what does that sound like? Oh. my bad, duh, you.

I like SRV's music and he hasn't released anything new ever since he came down with that minor case of death

If it was really bad he'd still be releasing albums. Like Tupac, Biggy, and Jimi.

Members CanIBDom
It seems like he does a lot of one-offs with other artists lately. "Game of Love" with Michelle Branch springs to mind. Yep, Supernatural was a smash, so I guess that's the safe direction for his career. Then again, the dude has earned the right to do what he wants. Members Hubert Stumblin
I caught the end of a nice little documentary on them recently. Wish I'd seen the whole thing. Very talented bunch of guys. Guitar playing is great. I like 'em.
