Members MickSlick
I've been wanting to convert my 01' American Series Strat to a true HH setup with full size HB's, likely with Seymour Duncans. I have been searching and am having a tough time coming up with options to purchase. Ideally a preloaded pickguard so I don't have to try to build from scratch or a Pre wired HH pickguard where I can then pick the p/us and solder them in. Any ideas or links to vendors that offer these options would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Members cratz2
I gather you are uncomfortable with soldering pots and switches. I think short of going with EMGs, some soldering will have to happen with a strat. At least three joints. Just to throw that out there. Having said that, I would assume you can get acmeguitarworks.com to wire up anything you can envision. You might send jay at Guitarfetish can help. They make custom wired pickguards for pretty cheap. Or you can look for a used pre-wired pickguard on here in the for sale or spam sections. You have to make sure your guitar is routed for humbuckers. And sometimes chrome- or gold-covered humbuckers won't fit in the existing rounds... sometimes only uncovered buckers will fit. Not trying to be overly negative, just making sure you know what's up. Members webwarmiller
This guy has a bunch of quality pre-wired guards. See some HSH but no HH, however: http://stores.ebay.com/Sigler-Music-Center__W0QQ_nkwZC73tresEQQLHQ5fSellerWithStoreZ1QQLHQ5fTitleDescZ1QQ_armrsZ1QQ_dmdZ1QQ_fromZR10QQ_ipgZQQ_sasiZ1QQ_vcZ1
Members mrmikers
These are nice pickgaurds and the pups are nice for the price too. But you could just take out the pups and put Duncans in. The big name preloaded pickgaurds (Duncan, Lace, DiMarzio,etc...) are insanely overpriced and offer very few options.http://www.guitarpartsonline.com/index.php?cPath=116_28

Members xStonr
If you do want to try your own soldering and pickup installation, guitarfetish is a inexpensive alternative.
Members thrill74
I was going to say vintage clubber as well. Other than that I've been wussing out and just getting the prewired's off of GFS and replacing the pups. I did get an INCREDIBLE prewired from Mark at MJW Customs. Wired up ridiculously well. http://mjwcustoms.4t.com/index_2.html
Members DonK
I've gotten a couple from this place, excellent quality, fast shipping. They also sell on eBay. http://www.metalshopmusic.com
