Members timmay8612
Thinking about plunking down around $1000 on an amp. New or used, whats your pick? Needs to include: TubesCombo, must be 1x12Great clean (I like Fenders & Carvins) and dirty sounds, preferably in some kind of two channel setup.Need to be able to disconnect internal speaker to plug in an attenuatorLess than 50 lbs Suggestions? Members Caleb Knockin
Used Orange Rocker 30, of course the cleans are very raw, so you have to like the way your guitar sounds clean unchanged. Maybe a used Fender Supersonic? I wanna see some other answers myself.

Members headstash
I had about a grand to spend on an amp and I bought an Egnater Rebel 30. To me, nothing in that price range could compare tone wise. I guess these things are subjective but I would definitely recommend trying one out for yourself. Members guitarded84
Every tube amp I have ever picked up was heavy as hell. With that said I would recommend a Peavey Classic 30. Great little combos. They have great cleans and Marshall like gain.

Members fjs1229
if I had a grand to spend I'd get a Winfield Amp. Hand made right down the road from me in Vermont. Great guy, pleasure to deal with. check them out: winfieldamps.com
Members Leftty
Egnater Rebel 30 head and matching 1x12 cab, the best sounding 30watt going right now.
Members -Assy-
Ive played two winfields, they were pretty good. Lacked versitility, but it did what it was made for very well.

What in your experience is good that fits my needs? Will the Deluxe reverb act like a channel switching amp or will I have to fiddle with my volume knob to get the cleans right? *now I'm getting it. I suck at naming threads. It should probably read, 'what should I buy?'

This is probably going to be my next amp, but it is 8 watts. Not a ton of clean volume, but it will be plenty for me to gig with. Members timmay8612
I need a fair amount of clean headroom so that there isn't a huge volume difference between my clean and dirty sounds. Most of my playing out we can assume the sound techs will be too incompetent to turn me up or down when I switch sounds, so dynamics are completely up to me as the player, which isn't necessarily the worst thing in the world. I will be playing 90% of the time either in my bedroom or a mic'd gig situation if that helps. Sounds like the Deluxe won't quite fit the bill.
