Members Antman Posted January 14, 2010 Members Share Posted January 14, 2010 Well yesterday my long awaitined Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded Cherry arrived after being on order from the States for around 8 weeks - perfect out the box! Can you believe it after the journey this guitar has taken? Nashville - Musicians Friend - Amazon - Take2 (local SA import company)..... Will post pics tonight when I get home from work.... All it needed was a half step tune up and that was after spending the day in my car at 39 centigrade (very hot!) I haven't been there since '98, but back then there was very little imported American gear to be had. Enjoy the Studio LP. Best value in LP IMHO. That's better!!!!What pick ups do you have on that beauty? 490/498 or burstbucker pro?I tried one of thoses studio faded with P90, it played beautifully, excellent guitars at incredible value.
