Members Phait
I never payed attention or gave any thought about this until recently when I ripped my Stone Temple Pilots CDs. The DeLeo brothers are my first fav (Dean on guitar, Robert on bass). They also worked in Army of Anyone with Richard Patrick of Filter. I like that I can actually hear Robert's bass and how it works in the song, most other band's songs it's not as prominent, it seems. Members Magpel
Lesh/Garcia Definitely one of the more interesting guitar/bass relationships, 'cause Lesh is so unconventional, and every Garcia solo is secretly a Lesh solo... Members Magpel
Herb Ellis / Ray Brown OK, if you're going there... I've been digging on the trio interplay of Scofield/Swallow on the last few Scofield discs. Well, for example... And Bill Stewart is positively my favorite living jazz drummer...
