Members riffy
I like it. I just dialed it in and want to use it for live sets. What do you all think? You won't hurt my feelings if you don't like it. Constructive criticism? I am all for it! BTW, this is a Paul with a BG Pickups Hellarail in the bridge!http://www.mp3lizard.com/download.cfm?id=27506
Members elsupermanny14
That's my favorite kind of tone! Sounds like Dokken!
Members chuck1016
It could use a little more bottom end. It's a very processed sound. Not my thing, but I think I know what you're going for and you're really close.

Members mdog114
Sounds good, a little more low-end may thicken it up a bit.
Members flyinbryan
a little edgy in the middle. like the others have said, maybe thicken it up a lil with some low end, or drop the mid some. overall i like it though, a lot to tell you the truth. Members Prages
I don't think it needs more bottom end. In a live situation, the bass will take care of the bottom end. I think that will work great in a band situation.

Members ottobahn
If you're going for a Satriani-type, over-processed tone then you pretty much nailed it.
Members _pete_
It reminds me of Vito Bratta's tone with White Lion.I love Vito's tone (and playing). Sounds good to me. I wouldn't mess with it.
Members mdog114
I guess I didn't pay attention when I first read this. On it's own, it sounds thin to me, with the bass added it'll should sound just fine.
Members riffy
Guys,Thank you all for taking your time to listen and comment! It will be for a band mix. There will be a 6 string bass player as well as a keyboard player.I really can't take up that much sonic space and still count on cutting through. I really don't get the over-processed thing though. It only has some delay on the guitar. I did hit it with mastering eq and normalized it so it would sound like it will coming through the FOH. Members wax4213
My impression is that a lot of people here perceive high gain as "over processed." Which is clearly a matter of opinion. Your tone isn't overly wet which is how I view over-processed (drenched in modulation, delay, reverb, etc). I think you did a good job with your tone, it'll be interesting to hear it in the situation of a full band.
