Members knotty
My Ibanez has developed a creak/squeak from the trem springs. Whenever you bend at higher frets you get a creak from the trem assembly. Any body ever had this? Is it just a squirt of wd40 or a tension adjustment? Cheers. Members jack harper
i'd say lube the ends where the springs mount, WD40 would do it
Members Doctor49
Cheers for that. I like the idea of something which will stay put, good idea. wd will stay put. One of its less endearing properties is dirt magnet after use.
Members JTEES4
An old pro fix for that is the stick some cotton balls into the springs...take them off and just push them through each spring with a pencil or something that fits.
