I was playing with the Electo Dyne 112 today at GC for a bit and really enjoying it. Has anyone here spent some hours with one and can comment on how it will work at low volumes (for late night practice sessions) its already pretty apparent that it sounds glorious cranked... unfortunately at 90W cranked its BRUTALLY LOUD... also im curious how it likes pedals Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One of the things I love about it is that it sounds huge at low volumes (especially on the clean channel). I have absolutely no need for a 45/90 watt amp but the combination of its low-volume great tone and plenty of headroom should I ever start gigging made it a great choice for me. My guess is that it has something to do with the cab design, combined with an efficient speaker but whatever the trick is it sounds way better at low volumes than it should.
