Members wanderoo222
I have $300 saved to order the Agile AL-2000 rootbeer flamed wide neck and case. I've read the reviews and feel this is the guitar to buy for this price range. I have 2 Gibson Classic 57's to put in , so pickups aren't an issue. But will it look as awesome as the website picks. Anyone had issues with the guitars appearance after receiving it? How hard was it to return it based on its appearance. I don't mean to be petty, but $300 is a lot to me these days. Thank all
Members Mr_GoodBomb
They take stuff out of the box and take photos of it. They don't cherrypick for photos, it seems, as you can often see small oddities and such in their stock photos.
Members axegrinder
It used to seem that they purposely took pics of lesser attractive samples for the website...maybe so customers would be pleasantly surprised(??). I haven't bought from them in years though so I couldn't say. I didn't know they did 2000's in the wider neck profile...good to know. 1-3/4" ? Members wanderoo222
yep, 1 3/4 available now on the al-2000's. No, I don't work for them. But I did think that it was a nice option.
Members Rhone
Huh?..the photos on the Rondo website suck. They are terrible. Go to the agileguitarforum.com for actual photos. Either way, if you don't like what you receive then just send it back to Kurt. He will send you another one.
Members wanderoo222
rhone, thanks for the website! Good to know about returning it. Now watch for my next post: "Should I save up for the al-3100?"'
Members cratz2
They aren't huge and super glossy pics, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that they suck. I get the feeling they are done by someone that does photography rather than a full time business, but they convey the looks of the guitars pretty well. Members xStonr
Your Agile will look a lot better in person. Their photographic skills are sadly lacking.
Members wanderoo222
Actually, I thought they looked pretty sweet in the website pics. But my eyesight isn't what it used to be.
Members sizzlemeister
I got a Douglas that is much less appealing in person than the picture on the Rondo website. Live and learn.

Thank all My AL-2000 cherry burst looked better in person that it did on the web site. The pictures didn't do it justice. It really is a nice guitar, and not just for the money. Spend a little time setting it up and you should be happy.
Members unworthy
It used to seem that they purposely took pics of lesser attractive samples for the website...maybe so customers would be pleasantly surprised(??). I've thought the same thing. It seems that customers' photos of their actual new Agiles are aways nicer than the ones in the Rondo photos.
Members Brian Krashpad
The concensus I've seen seems to be that more often than not your actual guitar will look better IRL than the model stock shot on Rondo. My Valkyrie did.
Members wanderoo222
Krashpad, I live in G'ville Fl too. Know anyone in town that owns a Agile LP copy I could check out?
