In fact, I have an ash body in shop that no one wants because it's stupidly ridiculously light. That said, as I stated above, that is alder. Especially the tighter grain the middle gives it away. Members Johansolo Posted April 22, 2011 Author Members Share Posted April 22, 2011 so anyways...decided to take to it with some power tools today kinda disregarded the guide lines i drew and decided to free hand it after a while...pretty stoked that i didnt destroy it beyond salvation... still lots of sanding to go thou...thin layer of poly finish my ass! not 100% how far i want to go with the front fore arm carve yet...will reasssess this when i tackle the front Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
