When good solos happen to crap songs

Fess up to your guilty secrets here ;) . give examples of songs you dislike or outright bad songs with good lead playing. I can't be the only guy here who, especially when I was younger, sat through some clunkers to get to "the good bit", the solo that is.

To start it off Jay Graydon do well on this Steve kipner throwaway

Ok, I do like this song, in spite of the fact of how undeniably cheesy it is. Anyway, it's one of the first shred-type solos that I really liked. I know, I know, but hey - when I was 10 and just starting to get into music, it was the early 90s, and I listened mostly to grunge.

Great pick. I absolutely love the solo in that one, it's like one of those "standing on the top of a mountain playing guitar while eagles fly above" type deals. :D
