Members EricJohn
I've not been a big fan of the Wilshire with that Penile headstock and mini humbuckers. But this one looks pretty cool. http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-EPI-ENW2-LIST

But this one looks pretty cool. http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-EPI-ENW2-LIST Dude, you must have one weird lookin penis if you think this looks "penile" Now I will agree with you that the one you posted looks pretty nice But the mini-hums on this model are the best sounding Epi HBs I've heard And to me, the "bat-wing" headstock on the '66 and Ltd Pro Wilshires looks less "neck heavy" than on the Phant-O-Matic The Wilshires have pretty small bodies so it helps the balance and overall look to have a bit of a trimmer headstock. I also like that it's unique to the Wilshire and doesn't look like just another "clipped ear" Gibson headstock copy. I guess I like either one. I wonder if you'd run into any unusual problems doing a p'up swap on the Phant-O-Matic with the Varitone wiring on it (?)

Members bsman
I believe that the varitone thing is really just a silly gimmick, but I think pretty much any Wilshire is cooler than almost any Gibson...
