Members Wyatt
Wel, I fixed my pic. But I would guess the Godin and the Squier are probably going to be the best match for the OP so far.
Members A_Gitarman
Dean White/Gold V... one of my main gigging guitars: I added a tone knob, though... gotta have a LITTLE variety:

Members BoneNut
Gotta try me one of those single pup guits and find out what all the fuss is about. I don't get the concept but seems like plenty of guys love 'em.
Members Guitar Heel
It took me three times before I could get along with one. If you find the right one, there's more range than you'd think.

No doubt. Playing style, attack, where you strum... probably make you work hard for your tone.
Members Guitar Heel
No doubt. Playing style, attack, where you strum... probably make you work hard for your tone. All that, plus it reminds me that there's that other knob beside the volume knob, and forces me to use it (not on a 1-knob of course, but I could never make that work). Unfortunately Collings electrics retail for about half an arm and both your testicles. Gorgeous guitars to be sure, but they ain't cheap.

I think Jackson makes the coolest guitars for what I'm looking. Unfortunately they are also really expensive for the artist guitars.

Unfortunately they are also really expensive for the artist guitars. I actually got mine second hand and for quite cheap- about $750 AUD. For reference the new Melody makers cost $800 AUD here Also the Jackson COW has quite a thick neck - which I really like but you might not. Members MojoFilter
I'd go old school. I'd personally get one of these, and get rid of one of the two pots and the switch: If you didn't like the holes left behind by the missing knob and switch, getting a custom control plate with only one hole for a single pot would be a thing of ease.
