Members Ancient Mariner
When did SE stop meaning 'student edition'? Ebony fingerboard, sparkle, bigsby, birds inlay and a $900 price. Sure it's pretty, but something just jars about it for me.
Members Elias Graves
Pretty sharp. I bet it looks killer under lights. EG
Members Ratbatblues
Love the metal flake. Plus those guitars are very light to begin with. With the B5, im sure they would still be light. Be a bit different!
Members humbuckerstrat
Too schizophrenic-looking with the futuristic bird inlays and the otherwise retro vibe of the guitar. Replacing the bird inlays with dots would go along way to proving it, tho, just mho.
Members GAS Man
I think this turned out to be a decent Post because of the differing opinions. I think I still like it and I'm only turned off by the steep price knowing that I'd probably want to upgrade the p'ups. But if cash or space weren't a limitation, I'm now thinking that Silver with the TV Jones others suggested would be pretty stellar. My only "sparkle guitar" desperately in need of companionship is this cool sounding (but mostly neglected I admit) modern twist on the Jazz-guar. I.e. my DiPinto G-4 LS. I know this one makes the sparkle haters want to spew, but when you're into collecting gits, you've got to have one or two that say HELLO! But two Silver Sparkles? Maybe red
Members krish
I generally can't stand the typical PRS Shape for guitars, nor do I take kindly to sparkle finishes. And yet, I find those guitars very, VERY desirable!
Members smorgdonkey
That is really something daring for PRS! I love everything about it....except for the bird inlays. I find the old "moon" inlays to be understated elegance! Have I ever told you that you are a brilliant person with exquisite taste?
