Members rockbot
MSRP, probably. Ah, right. MSRP is so ridiculous. Yeah, I want one of those. I really like the 24 3/4" scale on my LP, would love to try out a Mustang.

Members dunning-kruger
FAB! i really think the Classic Vibes are just as good as MIM standar Fenders. Any of these look like a winner! Ill take the white one.

Members dunning-kruger
Maybe you dont dig the 3 saddles versus the 6. Intonation suffers. but its part of the mojo the guitar offers. I havent been to convinced by alot of MIM standards. Even the telecaster. some are really great. But all of the CV teles ive played have been damn good. {censored} the bang for your buck talk, there just as good or better in alot of cases. Honestly i dont put my neck out there for squiers that much but the classic vibes are the best guitars to come out since the korean guitars of the 80s and mid 90s. IMO that mean alot, nothing has been quite good as MIK since.
Members bsman
If I could get a CV body w/an MIM neck I might agree, but I HATE the neck on all the CVs I've picked up so far. The finish and profile of the MIM standards are (to me) worlds above that of the CV...
Members dunning-kruger
might be the size. neck heal is definately smaller. what ever works mate i say. MIM standards are fine guitars also the gloss urathane. anywhoe MIM standards are far more consistant quality wise. but these MIC squier CV's are consistent too, everyone ive played has been a thrills so far. more so that MIM standard offerings im afraid IMO
Members Grantus
They look pretty cool, good to see Fender offering a student guitar at a student price again. I wonder if the pickups are as anemic as those on the MIJ Mustangs.

Fender Mustang is $940, or $800 for the not-really-a-Mustang Pawn Shop model. I'd guess these go for $250 to $300 retail.
