Members Ravelleman
Not really a fan of the colour, to be honest. I do have a Robby Krieger 50th Anniversary SG with a Maestro, though, and it's sweet.

Members Kap'n
I own one of those things So does a friend - pencil neck and all. The bridge pickup is a razor, but the neck doesn't sound half bad.

Members Malcolm Ramone
That burst, not so much . If the whole thing was the 'inside' color, kind of a honey/natural, I'd be all . -Adam
Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted March 5, 2012 Moderators Share Posted March 5, 2012 That burst, not so much . If the whole thing was the 'inside' color, kind of a honey/natural, I'd be all . -Adam That particular burst is a tribute to the 70s LP Custom bursts, and to me it's looks pretty sweet, although doesn't hit me where the GAS hurts, only the Robbie Krieger does that. I'm lucky in that I do a fair amount of guitar tech work and my SG gas is always cured when I get one in to do some work and that neck joint, old or new shows just how fragile the SG is......although that all said, I'd still hit a RK at the right price
Members undergod12
Normally I don't like that burst on LP's (I have clown-burst PTSD) but on the SG, it strangely works. Would!
Members PigWings_v2.0
I like how it still has the burst on the back of the neck. Like it's worn...
