Members aliensporebomb
Probably the Jackson Soloist although the Heartfield is about the same. Strangely, the Ibanez Artist seems like it's faster when doing certain techniques and I'm not sure why.
Members Alecto
For some reason, my Carvin H2 feels significantly faster than my other guitars, even though it's one of the fattest necks I own. Maybe it's a combination of the ebony fretboard, jumbo frets and flat radius. Here 'tis.
Members Roy Brooks
All of these except for the lap steel. Also not pictured is my Les Paul Deluxe. My Gibson ES-325 comes close.
Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted September 27, 2012 Moderators Share Posted September 27, 2012 I've recently had a loan car while mine is having some bodywork done, and I've had to see what it could do, and last week I had 132mph on the clock, and in the boot was an old Romanian parlour guitar that I'm building for fun, so I guess that's it right there:idk:

Members A_Gitarman
I'm tempted to say that my RG1XXV is my fastest, but I'm still in the 'honeymoon' phase with it so I'll hold off on that one for now (but it feels faaaaaaaast): Not counting the Ibby, then, I'd choose between the following: 2011 (ebony board) PRS SE Navarro: Steinberger Spirit GU-7R: & this parts-o-caster that I assembled a few years ago:
Members Yngtchie Blacksteen
None of my guitars are set up for blinding speed, so to speak, but the Telecaster has been my go-to practice guitar for years. It doesn't sound like a million bucks, but it's incredibly responsive and easy for me to rip on.

Members mrbrown49
Guild SF-IV. The frets are low, wide and smooth. The fretboard is slick and the action is perfect.
Members americansinner
My Italia. I generally prefer a thick necked guitar but i wanted an electric with a Piezo. This is skinny necked (relatively, really just a normal thickness) and low low action.
Members genesis3
If you want a fast player, try an Ibanez S series...everytime I pick one up at GC or wherever and also the couple two three I've owned, it's hard to put down just for the sheer ease of playing it. Flipped several months ago:
Members Valtyr
My fastest is my Parker Fly, probably due to low action and SS frets.
Members Presc
I find myself able to play a bit faster on 25.5" scale. My G&L has the biggest frets and flattest boards, so I'll go with that one. My K-Line probably has the best fretwork, but upper fret access isn't as good on a Tele.
