Has a 5- way rotary switch insteat of a 3-way toggle to give you more sounds with the 3 H'buckers.  Looks weird, but probably effective.

The cutaways ... both front & rear, the 25.5 scale bolt on neck, the.... well... sh*t....I only play strats.

I like the clean look without a toggle, but rotary switches are much more difficult to use on the fly, and I would find it quite cumbersome.  I used to have an old ES-345, and I never used the vari-tone thing... it stayed in position 1.

Having worked on two 3 pickup Gibson's the 5 way rotary makes 100% sense.

In the same way it does on a Strat
