Members james on bass
I dug out some CD's I haven't listened to in awhile. Tony Butler & Mark Brzezicki of Big Country, esp. "Live Without a Net" locked in together so well. Stanley Clarke & Stewart Copeland in Animal Logic - 2 of my fave players all over the place but completely locked in. Stefan Lessard & Carter Beauford of DMB.

Also, it technically was "Band of Gyps ys" oh yeah...brain cramp how could I forget the guy who wrote Them Changes.....we cover that song!! but certainly a better band most of the time than Experience...sorry for the spelling error, all my old tapes or CDs were burned by friends. Members bnyswonger
Bill Bruford and Jeff Berlin were awesome...as were Bruford & Wetton, Bruford & Levin...hmmm I'm seeing a pattern here. Carl Radle & Jim Gordon or Jim Keltner Jack Bruce & Aynsley Dunbar were great on Lou Reed's Berlin. One of the best rythm sections I ever saw was John Siegler & Kevin Ellman in the original Utopia. Members DevilRaysFan
One of the best rythm sections I ever saw was John Siegler & Kevin Ellman in the original Utopia. I like Kasim Sultan and John Wilcox in the later Utopia as well, particularly the self-titled album from '80-'81 that had "Hammer In My Heart" and "Princess Of The Universe"....Good stuff....... My picks for absolute tightness: Verdine White and Fred White , late 70s Earth, Wind, and Fire Geddy Lee and Neal Peart Bunny Brunel and Dennis Chambers Steve Ferrone and Allen Gorrie of AWB Lee Sklar and Paul Leim from Lyle Lovett's Large Band Bob Daisley and Ainsley Dunbar is another fave Early 70s Heart rhythm section (Steve Fossen and I forgot the drummer)
Members brake
The ever popular Sting & Copeland. So much contrast between the two. Chuck Rainey and Bernard Purdie have something that nobody else has. I don't know what it is, or why it is, but it is. Bob Babbitt/James Jamerson & Uriel Jones/Benny Benjamin/Pistol Allen - Basically any of the Motown stuff! There's some cool stuff happening on a lot of RHCP records, so I'd have to say Flea & Chad Smith. Solid! John Paul Jones & Bonzo are always going to be a favorite of mine. I can't get away from it. Billy Cox and Buddy Miles. Rock.
