Just curious who your favorite band from Seattle is. I've lived here my whole life.

My personal favorite is New American Shame. I don't think most of you have ever heard of them. They reunited and I saw them a couple weeks ago and kicked major ass. And of course, Alice in Chains is one of my favorite bands as well.

There was a band that had some regional success in the early 90's called Sweet Water. I was only a teenager at the time, so I only got to see them a few times when they played the Pain in the Grass concert series at the Seattle Center Mural stage, but they put on a mean show :thu:

Well there you have it. Hendrix would headline above every other band. Queensryche is awesome (when I feel like them). Nevermore was a tremendous album like GNR's and Boston's first. Alice in Chains never resonated with me... Pearl Jam and Soundgarden... some songs not many.

Man, there's so many good bands that have come out of this area;

Little Bill

Ruby Dee and the snake charmers

Merrilee Rush

Charles White Blues band

Junior Cadillac

King of Hawaii

Bradbury Press

The Sonics

Neko Case

...and that's just a few off the top of my head.
