Members Super Bass
Only looks vaguely Rickenbacker-ish to me. If they didn't put Rickenbacker in the title then they could get away with it. The RIC police will be on that like a fat kid on a free chocolate cake! Members catphish
I don't get it...I guess this is a good deal? I don't know if it is or not, but you can't sell rick clones on Ebay. That's probably why they are saying it'll be gone soon.
Members no-logic
I like it. I don't know if I'd pay $500 for it but I like the look.
Members justinbass
Rickenbacker as a company is very protective of their copyrights and their company image. They will get the auction canceled because of the auction name.
Members J.
Yep, they stand alone in the world of copyright infringement of guitars and basses. Most other companies will fight, but none are as proactive about it as Rickenbacker is. Not even Gibson, not by a long shot. Rickenbacker sued Godin because the pickups on their Radiator guitar looked to much like those on a guitar Rickenbacker used to make. I'm not making this up. Members Thumper
I can see the auction getting shut down for the Rickenbacker reference. I don't think it looks that much like a 4005, though...
