Moderators ThudMaker Posted May 15, 2009 Moderators Share Posted May 15, 2009 The Route 66 pedal is a good one for bass, IMHO. I have version 1. I find the comp as stock not too good for bass, but YMMV.
Members burdizzos
I wasn't expecting much from the compressor, but it functions fine for the $50 I paid for it. I like the distortion, so I'll probably keep it. I'm getting a bigger case soon to put my wireless receiver in the box as T-broom does. I'm also going to make a snake with two XLR cables and a power cable so I can just leave everything plugged in inside the case and then unroll the snake when I load in. Three connections and I'm set to go.

Members burdizzos
I went that route for a while, but ultimately, all I really need is a quality DI. The GT-6B is a great unit, I enjoyed the hell out of mine. I just added in the wah and distortion on the B channel with a secondary DI for {censored}s and giggles. Members JC Bass
I have another setup that I'm working on. I need a board for it though. Basically I got the idea from Clatter...similar to her setup, but not quite the same. You know, same but different? It has a Digitech Whammy, a Pod XT and an ABY box in there...don't use it much, but if I ever need it, I have it.

I've seen him twice and he was practically booed off stage both times. Each time he opened up for the RHCP.
