Members Thunderbroom
I'm sitting here working on my dissertation after getting back from rehearsal today and was thinking...let's post some gig pics! After all, that why many of us play...to play in public and let people see/hear what we do. Provide some context for the shots you post and also list any upcoming gigs you may have. Playing a few weeks ago with KQ at Yakzies across the street from Wrigley Field last month. Fun show if not sparsely attended. The owner is having us back for Black Wednesday Playing last month at our sound guy's wedding with YFC. The ladies were all over the place with the wireless mics. It was a great time. Most of the band rented rooms, stayed overnight, and consumed way too much alcohol. Both bands are playing at the Cubby Bear (Wrigleyville on 11/5) and will be sharing the bill with a third act. Members bassman1956
Don't you have a big gig in like 2 weeks that I was hoping to hit?
Members Thunderbroom
Don't you have a big gig in like 2 weeks that I was hoping to hit? The one I listed above I think. It's on a weeknight though, so I'm not sure how doable it is for you. I just found out a booking agent is coming out that night to check out both bands. Members B-Bottom
Here are two that we did back in August. This was our 2nd gig. It was a complete nightmare loading our stuff up and getting the hell out of there. Because the show was in the basement of a club in downtown Harrisburg, we had to carry everything up two flights of stairs and around a building while avoiding mobs of drunk asshole through the pouring rain. I won't even mention the traffic afterwards....... Other than that {censored} though it was a good time

What is Black Wednesday? The night before Thanksgiving Day?
Members Thunderbroom
The night before Thanksgiving Day? It's considered by many to be THE night to go out to a bar as they are generally packed. FYI...it's the day before Thanksgiving. College students are back at home and likely getting wasted so they can deal with their families the following day.
Members FloydianAnimal
Here's a couple photos recently tagged on our myspace. These were taken during an outdoor gig back in August in Fresno CA: Apparently I'm doing some Les style strumming in both pictures We have shows coming up in November in Fresno and in San Jose... Members Sugarskull
Beaumont Blues Festival. I know exactly what this smirk means. I had just noticed that a lady was sitting in a lawn chair and knitting. Knitting in time. Wah hahaha. In this one, I'm pointing someone out for some reason. I'm pretty sure we're playing "My Babe" by Little Walter, I really try to belt it out in the last verse. The only confirmed American Date we have so far is Viva Las Vegas April 3rd 2010. I have been thinking about including a Utah gig (will be hitting you up for info STFF) and have been discussing with the GuanaBatz about hopefully hopefully splitting a show in LA. Members beedlesw
this was from our first show, last saturday. we played at this little art gallery/show space place. it was really small, really crowded and really loud. also, the nut on my bass broke halfway through, so my E string kept flopping off. it was a great first show, haha. also, people kept mistaking us for mormon missionaries we have another show on the 13th next month at a club downtown. Members slapthefunkyfour
I had the chance to open for Lee Rocker. I was also his chauffeur that day. Here is one for Sugarskull. This is the afternoon after the previous night when I drank waaaay to much. I think I'm still drunk in the picture. Here I am playing with HIS bass. I got to watch the show from here:

Members mlwarriner
i hate photobucket. for some reason it won't work right on my work comp so here's some attachments. i hope. doing a fill-in gig with my former metal band because their bassist couldn't make it. one of the biggest, best venues in kansas city - the voodoo lounge at harrah's casino. had a blast, and apparently i was a little difficult to get photos of that night - i guess i had a problem with standing still long enough to get captured on camera
