No it's really a mandolin.

It an entry model that doesn't have a brand. It sounds ok but not great.

It has a strong sentimental value since it was my first real music instrument. I got it when I was 7.

I rarely play it but I like to have it around. I changed the machine heads a while ago. It's in bad need of a refret. It's probably not worth it given its value but I will likely do it, for sentimental purposes once again.

Finish turned to a nice yellowish vintage color so it looks cool.

That is a great looking family that covers a lot of ground tonally.

When I get the knobs for my Hanewinckel (now with Nordy Big Singles and a Nordy 3-band Preamp), I'll be sure to take some new pics of my family and post 'em.
