Members ezstep
I'm shocked. Honestly.I grew up in that {censored}ing commonwealth and regardless of what the voter registration polls show about the % of independents in Mass, it's probably the biggest Dem stronghold in the country. According to the Associated Press: In the bluest of blue states, the election was seen, at least in part, as a referendum on Obama, on health care reform, on the Democratic majority that had controlled two of three branches for a year. I seriously thought it was THREE of THREE branches for a year, raising the national debt by some 50% already.

Members ezstep
Ya know, I was thinking House, Senate, Prez. I don't like it when any one group controls all three. Yeah, you are right. I wasn't thinking Congress, Prez, Sup Crt. Mea Culpa.

Members jasper383
WOw. This really has the dems and the current administration scrambling. The Dems don't seem all that interested in jamming the health care bill on through. I assumed that is what they would do, either by passing the Senate version, or reconciliation. I guess they fear a complete political blowback for a long time.

It's a piece of {censored} bill. And Pelosi STILL wants to ramrod it through.

It's just one guy and one senate seat. As Stewart says "Obama has a better majority than Bush did when he did whatever he wanted"
