Haha, I'm a diehard Pirates fan...I couldn't abandon them even if they burned down my house.

Okay, maybe if they burned down my house.

Heh... I'm glad I'm not too die hard a fan of any teams anymore. Used to be a huge Lakers fan. I'm still a fan but I don't keep up with them. Check the standings, catch a game on the radio now and then. That's it usually.

He has abandoned us Thread Killers. mad.gif

Just post something on-topic and he'll come roaring back like a pit bull on crack...

Such as, 'I've finally got my pedal board set up the way I like it:

bass > Bassballs > MXR Phase 90 > Ibanez PD7 Phat Hed > MXR flanger > EHX Deluxe Memory Man > Boss NS2 noise suppressor. Powe is via a Voodoo Lab PP2+ power supply into a Furman power strip.'

I'm slowly adding Grolsch straplocks to my basses. thumb.gif

Also trying to figure out what to do with my DeArmond archtop that won't fit in any flight case, before time comes to move overseas. frown.gif

Almost immortal. I give it another +/- 1000 years until Earth's magnetic field switches. biggrin.gif

Good luck on the gig, ya lucky bastid, and +1 on the fruno bird call! thumb.gif

I really miss having a band, let alone the occasional gig.

I've found that drinking beer increases my proficiency in German...

I actually suggested that last week. biggrin.gif

The reply had something to do with 'professionalism' and 'working hours'. I'm not sure. biggrin.gif

Who, me?

Sorta. My mom was born in Germany. I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin. Some families spoke German, Russian or Polish at home, but English was the first language.

I took German in high school and college for easy 'A' grades.

I was stationed in Germany with the Army '90 - '93.

I last spoke German in '98 - '99 in Bosnia on a NATO rotation. I wouldn't consider myself fluent by any means.

Ah! Now I remember you were in Germany...just didn't realize your mom was German! (Or at least born there...)

Ich brauche einen Muttersprachler, oder (besser) eine Muttersprachlerin, mir zu helfen! biggrin.gif
