I recently had a bizarre variant of this one; we were well into in our second set and everyone was having a good time, we had a party table up front where a fair amount of lovely ladies were congregating. I watched some Hawaiian shirt wearing weirdo walk up and make himself at home right there to the obvious dismay of said ladies. I've known way too many bands who would take you up on the 7-8:30 offer (or even if you meant to type 8-8:30) and make way more trouble than they're worth.
