Today I turn the big 5-0! Officially an old man! So I'd thought I'd see who else shares my birthday. Does this tell us anything about ourselves?? Or about them??

Shelley Winters (!)

Rosalynn Carter

Roman Polanski (double !!)

Robert Redford (explains why I'm so often confused for him...)

Martin Mull (cool!)

Patrick Swayze (sad now...but why can't I dance??)

Denis Leary (kinda makes sense...)

Christian Slater (also kinda makes sense...)

Edward Norton (my wife thinks I look like him)

Malcolm Jamal-Warner (presently residing in the "where are they now..." file.)

Believe it or not, I had every intention of starting this exact thread yesterday, on my own birthday. (Just turned 43 on Aug 17th.)

The only ones I know off the top of my head are Eric Johnson and Davy Crockett.

However, I just asked the internet....and apparently I also share my birthday with Sean Penn, Jim Courier, Robert DeNiro, Donnie Wahlberg, and Mae West.

Of course, I'm far better looking than they are, and I possess far more youthful exuberance.
