Members stunningbabe
I don't doubt you at all, but the thought of you playing twangy country on that thing just seems wrong! Why? Cos of the HB?

I have a set up for songs like "Wicheta Lineman" that sounds so lonesome you could cry...
Members EightString
Why? Cos of the HB? I got one with a push-pull coil tap. That and a little eq does wonders.
Members EightString
All that said, it doesn't touch Bob Dey's sweet tele tone, but it's still nice.
Members James Clausen
I play a Variax, which does it all.An Epiphone Nighthawk Custom loaded with P-rails so that I can get single coil/P-90 or humbucker tonesI also play a Carvin that is loaded with splitable humbuckers with a piezio in the bridge.I use a Wecther for accoustic work. Members Loner
I play telecasters because Waylon Jennings had one! Seriously. I have 3. 2 have Vintage noiseless pickups and a Fishman Powerbridge. The 3rd has EMG EB model pickups and a Graphtech Ghost piezo setup which I want to upgrade to a MIDI pickup (another $200). I also have a Michael Kelly Hybrid Special (from ebay, an impulse buy) that I put Seymour Duncan P-rails pickups and triple shot mounting rings on. It has a Fishman piezo system and an earvana nut. I started out hating it and wishing I hadn't bought it, but after I put all that work into it I like it a lot. You can get a LOT of different sounds from those P-rails. I highly reccommend those. You'd be surprised at how many twangy country songs were recorded on Gibson ES335s, instead of Telecasters.

Members Howie22
Why? Cos of the HB? No. Lots of Telecasters have humbuckers or stacked pickups. It's because a Schecter 8 String guitar just screams "metal guitar" I'm not dissing EightString in any way whatsoever. It just seems funny to think of twangy country being played on that thing. I had no idea at the time that it would sound so good as an all-rounder.
