Members SOMMS
Hey gang, I was wondering if there are any good audio analysis tools out there that would allow me to: -throw an audio clip at it.-have it tell me the frequencies and the amplitudes contained in the clip-any other information This is primarily for recording...not live sound (note to self...maybe post in recording forum?) I'm sure this exists but I'm a complete noob on stuff like this. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks SOMMS

Members twostone
I tell you what they told me in the recording forum use your ears and not your eyes looking at graphs and charts.
Members Danny (NS::U)
There are a number of VST-based analysis tools out there. If you have a VST capable host, you can go here to see some of the free offerings: Actually interpreting the results is up to you. Note: The search above is for free plugins on the Windows platform. If you need something else, you'll need to go to KVR's search page.
