Hello,

I have a Martin D-35 I bought new from Guitar Center in Murrieta,Ca.

The edge binding on bothe the top and back is de-lamiting from the body mostly around the waist.

I believe I bought it in 2016 NEW. I think I can find the receipt if needed.

My local repair center told me it needs to go back to you.

Please Email me a shipping label to my Email xxxxxxxxx@gmail.com. and I will send it.

I will pay you the shipping charge if needed.

If I just send it myself It will exceed $120.00.

Any dialogue will be appreaciated

Jim

Jim...we are not the Martin repair depot....you should try  them at https://www.martinguitar.com/stores

You did register your warranty when you purchased it, right? The lifetime warranty has limits, which I'm sure they will explain to you.

According to the Support page on Martin’s web site, that GC is an authorized service center - though I wouldn’t let any GC touch a guitar; they’d probably just F it up.

plastic binding coming off is a pretty common thing on Martin guitars though, unfortunately. The glue they use doesn’t seem to take with plastic. Personally, I’d just use a few strips of tape to pull everything back into position then wick a very small amount thin CA glue with a pipette in the gaps then spritz it with a little spray activator. Wear latex/nitrile gloves though as it binds instantly. Take the tape off and do the same in the gaps. If there is any crusting, use a small razor (small strokes) to carefully scrape away excess bring mindful not to score the finish.
