Members Ryan.
So my snake just came in the mail today... Its got the metal thing at the end where the fan tail is. Can someone post a picture of their snake attached to their mixer so I can see exactly how you hang it to prevent pressure on the connectors? Thanks! Members Mutha Goose
my snake is out wih my rig right now so i can't take a picture, but I took a metal hook and connected it to that strain relief. I hook that hook onto the side of the rack.

Members Mutha Goose
Just make sure you bend the hook closed onto the snake so you don't loose it.
Members 6Imzadi
Look at this picture. You will see the snake being held in place by zipp ties that have a hole in them mounted to the rack. Hope this helps.
Members Axisplayer
Mine hangs from a carabiner hooked to a handle on the rack the console is in. Unsnap from the console and leave with the snake.
CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted June 22, 2010 CMS Author Share Posted June 22, 2010 I suspend mine from 18/8 stainless cable and a balloon filled with a 90/10 mix of helium and hydrogen. I read in an audiophile magazine that this lends a open airy feel to the music. Hang it from whatever you can conveniently use.
