Phil O'Keefe
Really basic stuff, but hopefully it will help a beginner or two out there somewhere. If anyone has any comments or questions about the article (which you can find right here), this is the place for them.

Members onelife
Well put Phil. The high / low confusion is common among people who don't really understand the technology. Your description makes it clear - even to the novice. The use of the graph will help make it easy to remember once it is explained.

Members davd_indigo
Yes thanks (from me too) Phil. I printed the article and will read. This is a black hole my brain falls into and never returns. I bought Izotope Ozone 7 (mastering preset software) a few months ago. I'm using the presets, but really have no real perceptions to hear or identify the subtle differences.
