From Yamaha:

I am 99% sure I know what this is from the number of lug casing, the lug casings and the shell material.

I have a kit just like this and it is most likely a Rydeen or YD drum set.

These were our entry level drum sets at the time and were 100% mahogany shells.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the feedback Dendy!! The YD kits were very cheaply made and from around the late 90's? They didn't last that long and is the line of Yamaha that seemed to have the least favorable comments about. If I remember right, just a very generic set for a maker such as Yamaha: Here is a link to an article when they first came out...

When they say 100% mahogany shells. It was "Philippine" mahogany which is a lower grade of mahogany wood, BUT, BUT Rydeen's were GREAT entry level kit! A step up in sound and construction from the YD series!! The old member here "DW" had a Rydeen as his practice/ basic gig set and was always bragging about it! It needed some upgraded heads from the generic heads that came with it, but it was all around great entry/gig kit!
