Members Dendy Jarrett Posted March 7, 2016 Members Posted March 7, 2016 Smells fishy to me - but hey, I just report the news. Sad for certain. http://ultimateclassicrock.com/randy-meisner-wife-shot/?trackback=fbshare_flat_3 D

Funny Nat! But a bit of a unsettling story....
Members Etienne Rambert Posted March 8, 2016 Members Posted March 8, 2016 Very sad. I guess they were having one of those "...turn up the Eagles, the neighbors are listening..." evenings. 0OPjqteoPHU And Dendy? I just can't believe it.
Members nat whilk II Posted March 8, 2016 Members Posted March 8, 2016 I thinking my prior post looks a bit flippant given the seriousness of the news - my apologies, not very appropriate I'm now thinking. I knew very little about the ups and downs of the various bios of Eagles members until the recent passing of Glenn Frey, after which I read around and watched a couple of band-bios films. I was struck with how many friends and acquaintances of Randy Meisner testify to his very gentle, kind nature. But he was apparently at one point diagnosed bi-polar, and has had many miseries, mostly substance-related, for a long, long time. nat whilk ii
Members AlamoJoe Posted March 9, 2016 Members Posted March 9, 2016 I don't think it looked flippant at all Nat. I don't think anyone took it as callous. Actually added a bit of brevity to a sad and confusing story. At Dendy's expense maybe...But he's an Admin..He's got a pretty thick skin anyway.
