Members FitchFY Posted September 17, 2015 Members Posted September 17, 2015 I promise, this isn't just self promo! I want to get some conversation going! On my most recent blog post (self promo: https://fitchdrums.wordpress.com/2015/09/17/get-turned-on/) I talked about adding bling to your drum set. Most recently, I added a red chrome port hole cover on my reso head which looks HOT,and I also picked up a Rim Riser, which I use with my country-punk band. I'd welcome ideas on what you guys have done to your drum sets recently to make them just a little bit cooler and a little more fun to look at and play!

Members 1001gear Posted September 17, 2015 Members Posted September 17, 2015 I still have the warp drive variation on my Tama Swingstars. One 39" rack bar on one leg. The other leg is the tom post on the kick. Across this in left / right symmetry go the up toms, 2 rides, and three crashes. Finish with left / right floor hats, Tama snare and anything else you wanna lug around. Saves a lot of standage but with the two hat stands the the hdw bag is still hevya ez fokk.
Members FitchFY Posted September 18, 2015 Author Members Posted September 18, 2015 That all sounds fairly cool - I'd love to see that!
Members 1001gear Posted September 18, 2015 Members Posted September 18, 2015 If you recall you asked the first time this came up. It's not hard to picture. Cymbals on Gibby half booms, toms on Pearl arms. Left right hats.
Members twosticks Posted November 3, 2015 Members Posted November 3, 2015 I've done Christmas Lights or Rope lights that go with the music before??
