Moderators isaac42 Posted January 10, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 10, 2015 I have one I'm thinking of selling, and I figured I'd give you bums first crack at it. 4004Cii. Looks like this:
Moderators isaac42 Posted January 12, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted January 12, 2015 I ordered one of the new Ric 4003W basses, and figured I'd sell this one to pay for it. Then car trouble, so now I'm several thousand dollars in the hole. Probably sell some other gear, too, but the only thing that's bass oriented is a Sunn 200S cabinet. Sucks to have cash flow problems.
Members WRGKMC
That's a great looking bass even though green is my least favorite color for an instrument. The 4003's are the most popular and the only ones I've ever actually played extensively. My Ric 480 was designed to be a guitar version to match them. Moderators isaac42 Posted January 21, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted January 21, 2015 May have made a mistake last night. I told some of my bandmates about the green 4004Cii I intended to sell, and took it to rehearsal last night. They loved it! They asked me to make it my regular bass with the band. Okay, it's a beautiful bass. But now, how do I pay for the new one?
Phil O'Keefe
Hit up your bandmates and tell them that if they want you to keep said green beauty, they have to help you out so you can afford it. It probably won't work, but it's worth a try!
Moderators isaac42 Posted February 4, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted February 4, 2015 At least the band is working. Ultimately, that's the best way to pay for new gear, anyway.
