Members garthman
I capo, pull on the strings on the bridge side to get enough slack to pull the pins. Pulling on the strings keeps them wound around the tuner capstans and the capo prevents unraveling. I do this when changing an on-board battery or when I just get a hankering to grope around inside the sound hole. Yep. That's precisely what I do. Members DonK
At one time I thought they made a difference http://www.harmonycentral.com/forum/...la-42/1313271- Now I don't really care - I know what I use for pins, saddles etc and why. Btw, the links on that are all broken, its really old but you can get the general idea from reading the comments. Freeman, is my memory faulty or didn't you once do a sound test and post it here using different bridge pins on a single guitar? Maybe it was someone else.... Just for grins, do you still have that Boss BR-80 I sold you?
Members garthman
It was Freeman who did the bridge pin test. I think he mentions it earlier in this thread.
