I have to object since this is my thread.

I'm not questioning the greatness of these tunes.

But your missing the "cool" factor here

check out my sample list

and add seifukusha's contribution

those are the types of tunes I speak of

for example, if I picked an AC/DC tune, it would be Ride On off of Dirty Deeds (I don't want to think of others)

obviously Back in Black has killer tunes on it, but this is not what I'm looking for

Dylan's Rainy Day Woman also misses the mark I'm looking for

I won't comment on all of these, but if I had to pick a Maiden tune, it wouldn't be Can I Play w/ Madness for this category

Too bad, fella. My list stands. Should I Stay or Should I Go would definitely not be on any cool list of mine either.:p

Well there's different kinds of cool. Are we talking druggy-cool like Pink Floyd, or young indie-kid-cool, or jazz-cool? There's many sub-genres of druggy-cool that would include all the above plus wealthy-coke-head cool, country club cool, trailer-trash-cool, chess-playing-philosophy-major-cool, etc. So I'm thinking you should do a bunch of songs about drugs.
