Members RoboPimp
everything about it rules, it has cool knobs that sink down flush with the housing for protection, a boost switch, made like a tank! I have one and I love it so much I would not sell it, except maybe for $40 or for a trade of some sort.
Members 44ofjuly
the delay, de 7 from the same series also sound nice, imho:)
Members grob-bucket
I just sold mine. The Tonelock feature is pretty cool but I wasn't impressed by the build quality. It has a plastic case and no nuts on the sockets so that any movement is transferred to the PCB (same as the much cheaper Dano and Behringer models). The biggest problem, however, was the switch - it was extremely unreliable. You simply couldn't guarantee it would switch on or off when you stomped it. Members Flaat
Now that they've worked out their flimsy on/off switch (I believe), several of them should be considered kick-ass pedals. I'd still prefer to just get a SD-1 and mod it, tho. About the same price, and better build quality. Edit: grob-bucket, I seem to remember that my CF7 had a metal case, not plastic. Members Brian Marshall
I have two TS7's and they are both metal... the switches are iffy though.
Members Klisk
My TS7 is metal... Not plastic. I like how the pedal sounds, though. It's my main overdrive. I just wish the switch worked reliably. It's not as 'warm' as a real TS9, but honestly, that's *why* I prefer it.
Members IAmAScientist
I bought a TS7 recently for 40 bucks, bought a mod for 20 off of www.monteallums.com, and for about 3 hours of soldering work, I'll have myself a tubescreamer with 808 specs. Now that's a bargain.

Members MrSage
Yeah, it's painted plastic-y, but those are definitely metal. That 7-series has a lot of sleeper pedals. I like the LF-7 Lo-Fi pedal a lot.
Members NoirAbattoir
Hey, you mean my old pedal. Glad to hear it's treating you right. Great overdrive. I have owned a number of them.

I got my first TS7 the year they came out... but not the first month or anything. I bought a 125b box last year to rehouse one of them in... maybe ill get arround to it some time. I want to true bypass it and all... but really its got like 7 circuit boards in it. what a mess. It will take a lot of glue to hold it together. Members DJLantz444
It's a shame, I'm in the market for one of these things at the moment, but the Bad Monkey and SD-1 caught my eye more. Sorry man

Members killyridols
I don't think the "7" series was ever plastic. I have a first issue de-7 and its definetely has a metal case. The only thing plastic on the pedal is the knobs.
