    Yeah, if they've really cut it down to 2 inputs, that's a shame. I thought cutting it down to 4 was bad enough, but with 2 it's pretty much worthless. Maybe you could download audacity for tracking, and then import the tracks to cubase for further mixing? audacity.sourceforge.org

    Hey I realized I sounded like a pompous ass there, not the intention. Read it with a jolly tone. I know Cubase LE went from 8 simoultaneous to 4. Maybe they've gone down to 2 now..?

    Sooooo... This wouldn't have anything to do with SOFTWARE? Sounds like the firepod isn't the problem, unless you have record-buttons on the actual firepods. (I don't think there are.)
