I was getting my first pair of glasses, and they had all these crappy oakley and tommy hilfiger frames in nicely lit cases for $100+. I kept saying "no, I want something cheaper, blockier, uglier". They dug out a little newsprint catalog out of some drawer and we found the "zylowear invincible" frames, made out of the same black nylon as LP's, for $25. Believe it or not, chicks loved them! Then I got to college and realized there were a TON of dorky emo kids wearing them, and I spent four years squinting at the chalkboard.
