Members therhodeo
Looking for 2 good guitars under $700 to be used for an odd pair of styles. Alt. Country and modern Praise and Worship. A. B. C. D. E. F.
Members Destructobot
Don't listen to them, you want single coils in that tele for country, alt or not. Everybody's voting for the tele custom cause it's undeniably sexified. Well, it was winning about 5 votes in anyway.

Members adamthemute
Telecaster Deluxe's are one of the coolest guitars ever made.

Members Destructobot
Actually, I'd jump on the thinline. I think it would make the most satisfying crunch as it broke.

Members ArrMatey
the d is the winner for me, it's not my personal choice of playing but it seems it would suit your needs.
Members murch33
C without hesitation. Runner up goes to B.
Members HeartfeltDawn
If C had a rosewood neck, I'd buy it now. As such, it's still the best but rosewood and a 12" radius 'board.. mmmmm.

Members drasp
I just pulled the trigger on a LP Jr. so I'm hot for P-90s right now. My vote goes for the LP DC. On most days I'd probably go for C. or D.
Members mike.sartori
Ok, those special fender humbuckers sound crappy, and definately not country. My advice to you is the thinline, and the double cut - that will cover the most ground. I do like the tele with 2 neck pickups too.
Members Suilebhain
You found those guitars for under $700?

Members johnrambo
You found those guitars for under $700? most of those are new, online for $700 or less. the dc faded les paul is a little higher and the jazzmaster would have to be japanese. Members csharr2
i have a tele deluxe and it is very versatile, especially if you upgrade the volume pots. it does a great country twang . i dont know what worship/praise music is but im sure it could do that too. Members TweedBassman
i voted E... that's your best bet IMHO. the gibby has those P-100's, no country tone at all. the tele with the humbuckers, same thing. the tone and versatility of the 3 pup tele is where it's at for what you want to play mang.
